The most effective format for a boardroom is one that is suitable for the size of your group, the meeting topic and desired level of interaction. Each layout of a meeting has its pros and cons and there are a myriad of other factors that play into the success of a workshop or conference.

The classic boardroom layout is comprised of a large table in the center of the room. There are seats around it. The theater layout is another popular choice for presentations and workshops with a large audience. It features rows of chairs facing the front.
